About Dr. Jodie Boisvert — Change Amplifiers
About Change Amplifiers

She's sat on both sides of the table.

Most people who help you raise money have only ever seen it from one side. Dr. Jodie Boisvert has worked both — asking for the funding inside nonprofits, and helping decide it inside foundations and government.

Why Change Amplifiers exists

She built Change Amplifiers because what earns the yes was never a secret being kept from you — it was just never taught to the people who needed it most.

For years, Jodie watched the same thing happen from inside the room. A passionate development leader would tell a genuinely moving story — and the funder would go quiet. Not because the work wasn't real, but because the case for it never made it onto the page in the language funders now require. The organizations winning those grants hadn't figured out a secret. They'd simply built a system nobody had shown the others how to build.

The proof this method teaches is the proof she had to build for herself — first as an evaluator, then across thirteen years of raising major gifts.

So she started teaching it, one cohort at a time. Change Amplifiers exists to close the gap between what an organization knows it achieves and what it can prove on paper — turning passionate advocates into credible, fundable development leaders funders say yes to.

One side of the table

The evaluator who measures what changed.

A Ph.D. grounded in Sociology and Anthropology — sociology provides the academic rigor to measure whether a program actually moved the outcome it set out to move, while anthropology provides the humanity to understand why it matters to the people it serves. This is the side most fundraisers never train in, and it's exactly the side funders are now asking about.

The other side of the table

The fundraiser who wins the yes.

Thirteen years of major-gift fundraising inside real nonprofit organizations — and time spent helping decide funding inside foundations and government. She knows what a funder feels in the moment they lean in, because she's been the one leaning in.

The track record

Thirteen years, both sides, and the proof to show for it.

Raised more than $12M for mission-driven organizations

Across multiple mid-size nonprofits — the kind of organizations doing real work that struggle most to prove it in the language funders require.

Worked both sides of the funding equation

Program evaluation and major-gift fundraising — the rare combination that lets her teach the bridge between measurement and message, not just one end of it.

Built The Funding Intelligence Program

A three-part method — the Evidence System, the Funding Blueprint, and the Development Compass — now taught to development leaders one cohort at a time.
